A four-cavity connector mold for a European electronics customer, built in pre-hardened H13 with a hot runner system and hardened, interchangeable cavity inserts. The tool was trial molded in-house and validated over 200,000 shots before shipment.
The insert design allows worn cavities to be replaced without touching the mold base, keeping downtime low across the customer’s production life.
